Check/Money Order
To sponsor a rider using a check or money order, make check
payable to 'Bike & Build' and mail to:
Bike & Build
6153 Ridge Ave
Philadelphia, PA 19128
Please remember to write the name of
the cyclist you are supporting in the memo section of your check.
We are, legally, only able to send acknowledgments to the original writer of the check. For checks that are signed over to Bike & Build, Inc., we will only be able to send acknowledgments to the person who signs over the check not the original donor. Donations of $75 or less will receive an emailed acknowledgement only.
Matching Gifts
See your employer on the list below? They have previously matched employee donations to Bike & Build. Don’t see your employer below? Maybe they have a matching gifts program that no Bike & Build supporter has previously used. Talk to your employer and see what they offer. This is a great way to help your favorite rider reach their $4,500 fundraising goal.
Employers will have initial forms to set the donation in motion. Some companies will require additional information from the nonprofit. All requests for Bike & Build information related to matching gifts can be sent to [email protected] . Common requests include our 501(c)(3) determination letter and EIN; those are included at the bottom of “Donate” page you were just on. Please email with other questions or requests. Companies can send checks or inquiries to:
Bike & Build
6153 Ridge Ave ATTN: Matt Hartman
Philadelphia, PA 19128
Please note that most companies process checks once per quarter. Donations received after the beginning of a trip will be counted retroactively towards a rider’s fundraising totals. If Bike & Build has not received the donation by the start of the trip, it will not count when the rider checks in and his/her final fundraising total is due. The moral: get those requests in early!
Thanks for your (and your company’s) support!
